Our waterproofing systems create a continuous protective barrier on below-grade concrete, helping prevent water intrusion and protect foundations from ground moisture and hydrostatic pressure before backfill.
Foundation concrete is naturally porous, and below-grade walls can be exposed to significant moisture and water pressure from surrounding soils. A properly applied waterproofing membrane creates a continuous barrier designed to prevent water intrusion and provide a higher level of protection in demanding below-grade conditions.
We work directly with builders, general contractors, and foundation crews to make waterproofing application simple. Once the foundation is ready, we coordinate with your schedule, prepare the necessary surfaces, apply the specified waterproofing system, and get the foundation ready for the next phase of construction.

01 — Foundation Ready
Once forms are stripped and the foundation is accessible, we coordinate with your schedule and confirm the waterproofing requirements for the project.
02 — Prep & Inspection
The foundation is inspected and prepared for waterproofing, with attention to ties, cracks, penetrations, joints, transitions, and other areas requiring detail work.
03 — Waterproofing Application
The specified waterproofing system is professionally applied to below-grade foundation surfaces, creating a continuous barrier designed to protect against water intrusion.
04 — Ready for the Next Phase
Once the waterproofing system has properly set, the foundation is ready for any specified insulation, drainage components, and subsequent backfill.

Every project is different. When plans call for a specific waterproofing product or system, we can work with the project’s architect, engineer, or design team to meet the specified requirements. Where substitutions are permitted, we can coordinate with Deco Products’ technical team to provide product documentation and help determine whether a Deco waterproofing system is appropriate for the application. We’re also happy to apply another approved waterproofing product when required by the project specifications. Deco provides technical data, applicator guides, and ICC documentation for its foundation waterproofing systems.
